You don’t have to leave the country to find a great place to say “I do.” There are many fantastic locations stateside that will make your big day something to remember for both you and your guests.
No city does southern elegance better than Charleston, S.C. Want to get married on a plantation surrounded by trees covered in hanging moss? Try Magnolia Plantation. Maybe you’re looking for something a bit more fun and unusual? The South Carolina Aquarium in downtown Charleston will help you plan your event from beginning to end. If you’re looking to celebrate on the shore, though, Wild Dunes, Charleston’s Island Resort, may be just right for you.
If you’re on the opposite side of the country, however, the Northwest can make your day just as spectacular. Try Seattle on for size. The perfect place for a big party is the Great Hall at Union Station, with its 11,000 square feet and 55-foot ceilings covered in white lights, your guests will be in awe of your affair. If you want something a bit more artistic, the Chihuly Garden Glasshouse may be a good option for you, and they offer their own in-house catering.
Some couples are looking for a venue that’s more remote and away from it all. Glacier National Park in Montana can be a beautiful backdrop to your private occasion, and Glacier Park Weddings will coordinate every detail to make sure you get the most out of your time. There’s also The Ranch at Rock Creek, a Montana luxury ranch that offers fully inclusive packages for both large and small weddings, as well as honeymoon packages.
Choosing a stateside destination wedding can be a great choice, as it is often more affordable for the bride and groom, as well as easier for traveling guests and bridal parties. With so many great options to choose from, you can easily find a venue that fits your location needs, budget and individual style.
