The Mansion on Forsyth Park, Kessler Collection in Savannah, Georgia, is proudly announcing its new status as an independent boutique hotel. Previously under the Marriott Autograph Collection, the hotel plans to provide a new level of amenities, elevated service and luxury experiences to its guests.

This luxurious AAA Four Diamond Mansion on Forsyth Park overlooks Savannah’s largest and most historic square and embodies a Victorian Romanesque mansion. The hotel features a rare Bösendorfer piano in the lounge, curated artwork, a historic hat collection, a Carriage Wine Cellar and much more.

The Kessler Collection is committed to providing unique experiences for its guests and is rolling out some special ones for the Mansion on Forsyth Park such as bath bombs and bath salts, along with high-quality skin care products; a Personal Pool Specialist available during the heat of Savannah’s summer and offering poolside cocktail service, towel rolling and sunglass cleaning; delicious Afternoon Tea Service; and much more.

Don’t miss out on the hotel’s popular restaurant, 700 Drayton, which will feature a newly designed menu of Southern coastal delicacies with a new twist on classic local dishes — if you aren’t into crowds, make sure to reserve the space for an intimate dining experience.

How to Leave No Trace While Traveling

Visit any popular destination and you’ll find an abundance of one thing: tourists. While there’s nothing wrong with that — travel does, after all, bring us closer to the world around us — tourists have earned quite the negative reputation for leaving destinations worse for wear. Whether it’s a visitor climbing to the top of the temple at Chichen Itza or tourists scratching their name on the wall of Rome’s Colosseum, it seems humans are always leaving their mark on the places they visit.
