Stay in a Luxury, Sustainable Treehouse in the United Kingdom

Looking for a unique stay option during your next trip to the United Kingdom? Why not a treehouse? Recently revamped with new amenities, The Treehouses at Lanrick in central Scotland offer a sustainable way to relax, recharge and soak in the natural surroundings.

The property offers five luxury treehouses, each outfitted with a kitchen and living area, log-burning stove, private bathroom, outdoor bath or shower, and a terrace in the trees. The treehouses are off the grid, but also provide easy access to nearby activities and attractions, such as Trossachs National Park, Loch Lomond and multiple castles.

Now, guests at the treehouses can also enjoy access to a woodland sauna and cold-water plunge pool, the perfect complement to the Swedish massage therapies the property offers. Keeping with the property’s sustainable ethos, the new sauna is built from timber harvested on site, and its roof is covered in top soil and vegetation. The effect is a structure blending seamlessly with the surrounding woods.

Of the addition, property owner Simon Dickson said, “We wanted to create a structure that would fit organically within the woodland setting, both enhancing the natural environment whilst letting users feel like they were completely immersed in the woods.”
