If you are away on longer cycling trips you might find you need some tools if anything unfortunate happens.

The makers of T-Ratchet claim it is the first ratcheting mini-tool that is multi-configurable. They also make the Ti-Torque extension which provides more torque when you need it. The kit comes with multiple heads, meaning you can use it for myriad bolts, screws and attachments.

The tool has six degrees of engagement, which makes it perfect for working in tight spaces. Its makers have more than 50 years of experience in the cycling world, making tools and components, and the wisdom shows.

The Ti-Torque extension has a torque reader that works in real-time. This is essential when fitting stem faceplates, for example, when you need to tighten each bolt to the same degree.

It’s a high-quality piece of kit tested in professional situations over a long period of time. The final product comes with a case that keeps the separate sections safely secure, and it’s easy to store in your pack or jersey pocket.

If you are in the market for some new tools, the T-Ratchet is a great solution for cyclists. Its makers, SILCA, have a long history making pumps and tools, and the T-Ratchet fits the company tradition of excellence.

The tool was a smash hit on Kickstarter, and the first examples are set to ship by December.
