JetBlue is expanding its offerings from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and, on its busiest days, the airline will now offer more than 100 flights from the airport.
The expansion starts in November, when JetBlue will introduce non-stop service from Fort Lauderdale to nine cities, including a brand-new destination for the airline: Cali, Colombia (CLO). In addition to Cali, new service will be offered to Aruba (AUA); Cartagena (CTG); the Cayman Islands (GCM); Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR); New Orleans (MSY); Pittsburgh (PIT); St. Maarten (SXM); and San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP).
Beyond new routes, JetBlue will also expand existing service from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta (ATL); Hartford, Connecticut (BDL); Boston (BOS); San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU); Cancún (CUN); Kingston, Jamaica (KIN); Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ); San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO); and Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI).
“As the top airline in Fort Lauderdale, with more departures than any other carrier on peak travel days, JetBlue is proud to keep raising the bar for customers in South Florida and to continue bringing them to the places they want to go,” said Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airline partnerships, JetBlue. “By adding new routes and expanding service to top destinations, we’re giving travelers more opportunities to enjoy the comfort, quality service and value that sets JetBlue apart.”
