The Attachment Shovel is a new twist on the classic garden implement, which contains a huge number of useful camping tools in its innocuous-looking package.
While the aircraft-grade aluminum handle should be high quality, it is the myriad attachments which really make this product stand out from the crowd. A number of different heads can be attached to the shovel in order to transform it into a knife, a screwdriver and a fire-starter flint.
The shovel head itself features a saw blade on one side and an axe blade on the other, and the extension handle contains an ice pick, string saw, bottle opener, wire cutter and a rechargeable flashlight.
Not only does the Attachment Shovel promise to help you carry out camping tasks, it can also maintain your connection with the outside world by charging your phone. With a fully assembled length of 40 inches and weighing just 3 pounds, the Attachment Shovel provides a useful, portable solution to various camping needs.
The Attachment Shovel is currently making a funding campaign on Kickstarter, and a pledge of $130 is enough to get your hands on one of them. The entire kit comes packaged in a convenient carry case and it looks set to be a useful addition to campers’ gear collections.
As always with Kickstarter campaigns, there is a chance the product will not make it to production, but there will be plenty of outdoor enthusiasts hoping the Attachment Shovel does not run into any problems.
