Nothing in Boston is uniform — the streets aren’t perpendicular, and Copley Square isn’t square. For this reason, it only makes sense the famous Boston Park Plaza Hotel occupies the space between a strange, trapezoidal city block.

Before entering, guests are greeted with a view of the iconic, rounded point that is the face of the hotel. From here, the Boston Public Garden is just a block away. The inside of the building features 1,000 rooms, each with both modern luxuries and an old-fashioned touch. These rooms were constructed at perhaps the peak of American architectural craftsmanship — the 1920s. For light sleepers, that means no paper-thin walls. The rooms also feature heavy doors and antique bathroom details.

Additionally, the hotel is home to six restaurants like well-known Off The Common, as well as 36 different conference rooms (the largest fitting 2,000 guests), including a balconied ballroom-auditorium.

Over the years, the Plaza has become recognized around the globe as Boston’s premiere hotel experience. When visiting the city, the hotel is the favorite spot of a number of celebrities, and every United States president from as far back as Calvin Coolidge in the late 1920s has spent the night at least once.
