What’s the No. 1 city for partying? The answer is Miami, at least according to new research from experts at casinossweeps.com. The site analyzed numerous party-related hashtags on Instagram to uncover the most Instagrammable party cities in America.

Miami comes in first, with 90,502,259 Instagram hashtags, partly due to its regular celebrity presence. In spot No. 2 is Los Angeles, boasting 83,264,231 hashtags. LA’s many entertainment venues likely raised its ranking. A metropolis of food, culture and architecture takes the third spot: Chicago’s nightlife includes jazz clubs, rooftop pubs and more.

With 43,326,831 Instagram hashtags, Atlanta is in fourth place, offering Southern hospitality at its many festivals and events all year long. No surprise for No. 5: Las Vegas, at 40,535,927 hashtags.

“While it beats out iconic locations such as New York City and Las Vegas, Miami has a unique charm that has clearly been on display all over social media,” said casinossweeps.com. “For the rest of the cities on the list, it reflects that people have various locations across the country to choose from when it comes to partying, regardless of whether someone is celebrating on the east coast or the west coast.”

Rounding out the top 10 are New York City at No. 6, San Diego in seventh place, No. 8 San Francisco, Houston in ninth place and Boston at No. 10.
