We’ve all been there — watching a prized possession float away from us in a body of water, or wishing we’d brought along the camera we left behind on land for fear of losing it as a picture-perfect opportunity sailed on by. XSORIES is working to make those issues a thing of the past with the launch of U-Float, a silicone mount enabling users to capture aquatic adventures.

The 100 percent buoyant silicone mount keeps digital cameras afloat to capture water-based adventures. U-Float retains its shape when wet and an adjustable neoprene strap keeps the mount tight to the user’s palm. Digital cameras float alongside users without risk of being whisked away.

“Everyone enjoys filming themselves playing around in the water, but watching your camera sink isn’t fun,” said Will Newland, chief operating officer, XSORIES. “We created U-Float so our customers can capture their stories by land or sea in a safe way.”

The device’s ergonomic indents and silicone design offer a sturdy grip, and also work with mittens for use in the colder winter months. U-Float is compatible with all models of action cameras, including Go Pro, Sony Action, Garmin Virb and Countours. It is available online for $29.99.

XSORIES creates innovative gear to allow users to live, capture and share moments, specializing in connecting hardware to software devices. Sports and adventure enthusiasts have a new way to share their passions.
