The Belize Collection’s astounding success of its inaugural phase of the new The Banks Resort continues with the grand unveiling of the resort’s second expansion this December. The second phase preserves the property’s intimate character while providing more ways for travelers to experience its jungle settings.
The Banks’ accommodations expands from 14 to 29, with 10 new one-bedroom Jungle Suites with a pool, as well as additional two- and three-bedroom accommodations. Jungle Suites are designed for two guests and include a king-sized bed, kitchenette, private plunge pool, courtyard, outdoor shower and more.
“Since opening, The Banks Resort has quickly become a distinctive addition to The Belize Collection, offering an elevated way to experience Belize while remaining deeply connected to the destination,” said Julie Kee, director of Sales & Marketing, The Belize Collection. “Phase Two builds on that success with the expanded villas and more opportunities to experience the rainforest, Sibun River and local culture, while continuing our vision for thoughtful, authentically Belizean hospitality.”
In addition to new accommodations, The Banks continues to offer the perfect mix of adventure, wellness and dining, immersing guests in its rainforest setting. Days spent at the resort include kayaking along Sibun River, biking and hiking through the lush landscape, horseback riding, and adventuring into Ceremonial Cave.
