Milwaukee, Wisc., is known for its beers and cheese, but its Bloody Mary’s, ranging from craft cocktail to gallon-sized, deserve plenty of attention.

Café Benelux

Don’t miss the hash or the homemade tater tots at this buzzing Belgian café and top it off with a homemade Bloody Mary, made with enticing ingredients like peppercorn-infused vodka. Try the Morning Rooster with chipotle vodka and a jalapeno-stuffed olive or the Rad Barbie with horseradish-infused Van Gogh vodka.
Sobelman’s

This roadside café is an unassuming place from the outside and you might find yourself jostling for a place in line with a group of local motorcycle bikers, but it is worth the wait. Arrive earlier than normal brunch times on the weekends to secure a table for one of their famous Bloody Mary’s with toppings like mini hamburgers. Hungry? Try the giant Bloody Mary affixed with a full-size roasted chicken.

Lobby Lounge at The Pfister

This grand old hotel, decorated with gilt and mural-painted ceilings, holds a secret: It offers one mean Bloody Mary. Settle into the plush lobby lounge bar for a straightforward but delicious take on the tomato-based cocktail.

Oscar’s Pub and Grill

Come for the burger and stay for the Bloody Mary, which comes topped with bacon, a ball of mozzarella cheese and a beer chaser.

The Wicked Hop

This restaurant is known for its expansive beer list, but its Bloody Mary has gotten more recognition thanks to a spicy homemade mix and toppings like mushrooms, beef sticks, shrimp and olives.
