Top 5 / North America

Nashville has no shortage of great restaurants. Whether you want an upscale brunch experience or need a hangover cure, there are plenty of spots to fulfill your needs. These are five of our favorites.

5th and Taylor

Located in the city’s Germantown section, this industrial chic spot serves Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Specializing in refined American fare, the brunch menu offers dishes including monkey bread and sausage cheddar biscuits to share and quiche and fried chicken biscuits with gravy as entrées.

Biscuit Love

Open daily, Biscuit Love has three locations in the city. As you can guess from its name, the restaurant is known for its biscuits. For a sweet note, share the bonuts (fried biscuit dough topped with lemon mascarpone and blueberry compote). If you prefer a savory brunch, opt for one of the biscuit sandwiches highlighting the famous Nashville hot chicken.

Chauhan Ale and Masala House

The popular restaurant offers a unique Indian take on southern brunch classics. Choose from brunch cocktails with an Indian twist like a Bloody Mary spiced with vindaloo curry. For entrees, indulge in Tandoori shrimp and grits made with semolina upma.

Husk

Husk specializes in upscale southern cuisine. Brunch is served 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The menu changes daily to reflect the best seasonal, local ingredients. However, diners can expect to see items like its famous cheeseburger, shrimp and grits and other classics with a southern spin on the menu.

Sinema

If a brunch buffet is more your style, check out Sinema. The bottomless brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m–2 p.m., for $25 per person. Diners can choose from breads, pastries, biscuits, breakfast meats, potatoes and eggs as well as a variety of stations (omelet, fried chicken, crepes).
