Stowe Mountain Resort

Known as the Ski Capital of the East, Stowe Mountain Resort is comprised of two separate mountains in northern Vermont with 39 miles of skiing and snowboarding trails for experts as well as beginners. High-speed lifts take skiers to the top of the mountain, ensuring they’ll spend more time skiing and less time waiting in line. For a full day of skiing, lift tickets start from $72.

 

Jay Peak Resort

Located in northern Vermont close to the Canadian border, Jay Peak features 78 trails, slopes and glades with novice and intermediate trails, as well as tremendous backcountry for advanced skiers to enjoy. Due to its location, Jay Peak is the snowiest resort in eastern North America, boasting 377 inches of natural snowfall each year. Lift tickets start from $72 for a full day.

 

Killington Ski Resort

With 200 trails of varying degrees of difficulty on seven mountains, Killington has something for every kind of skier. Nestled on 3,000 acres of central Vermont’s Green Mountains, the largest four-season resort in Eastern North America features the most expansive lift network and snowmaking system on the East Coast. Lift tickets for a full day start from $84.

 

Okemo Mountain Resort

Located in south-central Vermont, Okemo Mountain Resort features 120 ski trails served by 19 lifts. The resort is family friendly, with all trails leading to one central base area and a variety of lifts allowing families to ride together. Lift tickets for a full day start from $82.

 

Smugglers’ Notch Resort

Located in the heart of the Green Mountains, Smugglers’ Notch Resort covers more than 300 marked and patrolled acres of snowy terrain, including the East Coast’s only triple black run, The Black Hole, as well as a variety of easier trails for beginners and children. Full-day lift tickets start from $50.
