Sustainable tour operator Up Norway invites travelers on a new journey, highlighting the history and culture of Norwegian women: Tracing Norway’s Super Women.
The 10-day journey is available throughout 2023. Visit Scandinavia’s only Women’s Museum to learn about Norway’s equality history through an international perspective. Stop at the Steilneset Memorial, which commemorates the site where 91 people were found guilty of witchcraft and burned at the stake. Go on a king crab fishing experience and delight in tales of women who served maritime roles historically held by men.
Visit Feddie Ocean Distillery. Norway’s first organic certified distillery makes a new type of whiskey: Norwegian single malt. This distillery is female-founded, with 100 percent of the investors women. Enjoy a guided tour of Ekeberg Sculpture Park, one of the most popular in the world. The sculptures in the park depict women and boast work from artists including Niki de Saint Phalle and Sarah Lucas.
Accommodations during the tour include a stay at the restored boutique hotel Camilla’s House, the former private residence of novelist and women’s rights activist Camilla Collett.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network.
