The Urban Armor Gear creators of rugged, lightweight and drop-tested mobile accessories introduced the first Mil-Spec protective case built specifically for Apple’s 12-inch MacBook.

The advanced design of the Mil-Spec protective case provides MacBook owners with a shock- and scratch-resistant product, offering unrivaled protection for Apple’s 12-inch MacBooks.

In addition to durability, the case also provides a dual-lock screen closure capable of securing the device while in the closed position. With this, the one-piece case offers 360-degree security by combining a hard composite outer shell with shock-resistant rubberized bumpers and bottom skid pads.

Additional features include an armor shell and impact-resistant bumpers; FrogSkin non-slip grip; and cooling vents for uncompromised air flow.

UAG’s first Mil-Spec protective case is available in two translucent colors, including clear and gray, for $79.95.

In addition to the case for 12-inch MacBooks, UAG also provides a number of products to protect your phones and tablets from minor bumps and hard drops. Phone cases are available for the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Note series as well as tablet cases for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro. All products receive a military-grade certification for protection against shock by enduring rigorous laboratory drop testing.
