Charge all your devices at once and make sure you wake up on time with Sandman Clocks, an alarm clock featuring a USB power strip.
The device looks like a regular alarm clock, with a bright, adjustable display dim enough for night time viewing and bright enough to read in the sunlight. Convenient features are its large 1.8-inch display for easy viewing, no matter how tired you are, and four non-slip rubber feet for a firm grip on any surface.
What makes this alarm clock special is its charging capabilities. Located on the other side of the display are four USB ports, allowing users to charge multiple devices at one time while they’re snoozing.
You might be thinking, why would I need this product when I use my phone as an alarm? According to the folks behind the innovative product, Palo Alto Innovation, a cell phone’s display is not ideal for viewing at night, as it’s backlit and very bright. Sandman’s display, on the other hand, is dim enough to safely view and read, so it won’t bother your night vision.
The Sandman is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to ship in January 2016. Available in white and black, the device costs $29.
