Winter Honeymoon in Finland

While skipping off to a beautiful island getaway seems the trend for most newlyweds, how about considering something a little more unique? Finland is home to one of the most romantic atmospheres on Earth and it’s the perfect setting for a honeymoon.

Six nights are spent in a romantic log cabin atop one of the country’s largest fells and the seventh at the world-famous Eagle’s View Suite. During your stay you’ll get to participate in a reindeer sleigh ride along with a Northern Lights safari, led by a team of huskies. There are also thermal pools, a spa and sauna and even snowmobile adventures included in the trip.

The staff will also provide you with traditional Lappish wedding gifts while you’re there, though we’re not sure how you’re going to get them home. Bring an extra suitcase, maybe?
