Tips / Other

Rainy days can really be a bummer, especially when you made plans to do outdoor activities. Luckily, there are many indoor activities and places to visit that keep you out of the rain and won’t make you bored.

Get Crafty

Spark your creativity by heading to the local craft store. With aisles of canvases, unfinished wood, ceramics and baking supplies, something may ignite a want to create. Having hours indoors gives you plenty of time to begin and possibly finish a project depending on the difficulty.

Plan a Trip

If crafting isn’t your thing, get excited about exploring somewhere new. Start to plan a trip to a new place by doing all the research you can by using travel books, magazines, YouTube videos and searching the internet for any information you may need. By the end of the day you may just have a fully planned trip to take next month.

Get Organized

Although the thought may be boring, getting your house organized can easily become a task you want to see completed. Gutting a closet full of random items and purging them to the curb can feel refreshing. Once you start, you may not be able to stop.

Cook a Complicated Meal

Take the time on rainy days to channel your inner professional chef. Choose a three-course meal that will take all day to prepare. If you don’t know how to cook, now is a great time to whip out that cookbook someone gave you years ago. When you are finished, light some candles and enjoy the hard work you put in to make that delicious meal.
