Spend some time (and money) shopping at Corning’s Gaffer District. Named after glassblowers (known as gaffers), the shopping area features numerous shops and cafés selling everything from specialty foods to — you guessed it — glass products.

Dine on a globally inspired menu at The Cellar. Menus change seasonally to reflect the freshest, local ingredients. Entrées range about $16–49. More than 40 wines are available by the glass, starting at $7.
