Frequent travelers often have a standard go-to packing list when it comes time to prep their suitcase for their next trip. Depending on your destination, though, there may be specific items that can be overlooked, especially when considering weather, the length of your trip and the time of year during which you will travel.

A new app has been created to aid in any and all packing-related quandaries. PackPoint, available for iOS and Android, is an easy-to-use platform that lets you enter your destined location, your dates of travel and your length of stay. You can also indicate whether the trip is for business or leisure, as well as select any activities in which you may partake, including swimming, hiking and fancy dinners. After you have submitted your information, the app generates a customizable packing list complete with suggestions for your planned activities. The list is easily modifiable and items can be deleted with a simple swipe. There is also the option to add items manually or change the number of existing items.

Once your packing list is complete, you can distribute it to yourself or others through email, notes, instant messages or your calendar. With a packing list that is easy to create, send and access, you’ll never again leave anything behind.
