The Sharktooth elegantly marries form and function to bring 16 useful tools to a stylish pendant or earring.
Its makers managed to pack a micro-saw, wrenches and arrowhead into a tiny package. It’s a neat solution for taking useful tools with you without adding any significant weight or volume to your pack — you’re wearing it on your body instead.
Attach the Sharktooth to a stick to make a rudimentary spear, or use the saw to make fine cuts in wood or meat. You can use the flat edge as a screwdriver and pry items open using the tip. The Sharktooth is proudly made in the United States and supports local businesses, which may be one reason its Kickstarter campaign smashed the original $2,500 target on its way to raising $33,276.
The Sharktooth ships in both steel and black steel colorways, offering style-conscious outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to customize their look. It’s a pretty good looking pendant in its own right, and at $22 it won’t break the bank.
If you’re in the mood for trying something different, the Sharktooth could be for you. The pendant/earring will be doing well to operate perfectly with each of the 16 promised functions, but it could be a decent addition to your kit bag.
