Trends / Unique Itineraries & Tours

The 40th Annual Portland International Film Festival will be held through Feb. 25. Produced by The Portland Art Museum and the Northwest Film Center, there will be new and archived films celebrated by members of the Portland arts, film fans and filmmakers.

Guests of the festival will be able to view days of new directors, masters in the field, documentary films, after dark and cutting-edge projects, family films, animated movies, experimental films and classics and international favorites.

Silver Screen Club membership holders at the Director’s Level and above receive the VIP treatment, complete with an Opening Night invitation.

Regular PIFF passes exclude the Opening Night events, but include all regular film screenings throughout the festival. Students with valid ID pay $200 per ticket, while regular admission is $350 for festival access. Festival passes also offer special discounts at participating hotels for out-of-town visitors.

General admission passes can be purchased ahead of time for daily access and in bulk for $12–50. The Opening Night screening and afterparty is $25 for guests, ages 21 and over, and offers a unique, inside-access experience for film aficionados.

There will be plenty to see, do and participate in throughout the nearly month-long festival. Ticket sales support the arts and further advance Portland’s thriving bohemian culture.
