Dating back to 1439, Strasbourg Cathedral (also known as Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg) is one of the finest examples of Rayonnant Gothic architecture. Vauban Dam is a bridge, weir and defensive structure first erected in the 17th century to protect the city in the event of an attack. Today, you can walk across and climb to a viewing terrace to catch great views of the river and city.
