The quaint town of Estes Park, Colo., in connection with the Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation, celebrates the town’s history this May with the Western Heritage Festival.
Held May 29–31, the first annual event takes place at the Estes Park Events Complex and throughout the community. The festival highlights the Western history of the Estes Valley. Many events take place over the weekend including the Estes Park Western Heritage Art Sale and Exhibit, Windows to the West. More than 40 artists’ work will be for sale. Original artwork available for sale includes mixed media renderings of Western landscapes, animals, Native American culture and rodeo scenes as well as sculptures. The Western Merchandise Sale and Exhibit held during the festival offers Western furniture, home décor, jewelry, Western clothing and ranch gear for sale.
