The Raines Law Room in New York City pays tribute to the law with the same name from the late 19th century that attempted to repress alcohol availability. Sexy cocktails, dim lighting and the fact only a few guests are allowed at a time make this exclusive bar a difficult one to crack.

Speaking of exclusive entries, Portland, Ore.’s, Circa 33 requires a secret code be entered into a book titled Mafia in the bookshelf. If successful, you’ll enjoy a quiet back bar with exquisite cocktails.
