Munk Pack is an interesting — read: strange — new snack on the market. The product bills itself as an “oatmeal fruit squeeze,” perfect for a snack or breakfast on the go.
Munk Pack is a bit of an acquired taste. The combination of solids and liquids coming out of the squeeze pack are a bizarre combination of bran muffin and smoothie, with bits of oats and fruit suspended in a viscous liquid.
Once you get used to the semi-digested goo, it’s actually pretty tasty. It’s not too sweet, with little sugar content, and it’s fairly healthy. Omega-3s, fiber and vitamins and minerals are packed into every squeeze pack. The products are all made without genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), are crafted of whole grains for added healthfulness and are naturally gluten-free and vegan, which is extremely difficult to find in a snack.
The packs are perfect for backpacking or travel, as they’re lightweight and can be stowed easily. Once you’re done, simply screw the lid back on and it will keep the remnants contained until you reach a trashcan.
Flavors include apple quinoa cinnamon, blueberry acai flax, raspberry coconut and peach chia vanilla — all of which are satisfying and tasty. Munk Packs are available on Amazon.
