If you own a scooter, it is highly likely you have made some fraught journeys with shopping balanced between your legs.
While this may seem like a good idea at the time, it is likely to end with spilled shopping bags. Fortunately for scooter owners, Softcase is now offering a fold-down scooter case that will allow you to get your shopping home safely.
Of course you could always fit a fixed cargo box to your scooter, but they tend to be expensive and ugly. Most users only need extra storage space occasionally, and that’s where the Softcase comes in.
It folds down into a small package that fits under the seat of your scooter, before folding out for easy fitting thanks to a range of straps that fit most common brands of scooter. Softcase offers 40 liters carrying capacity, which is large enough for two full face helmets or quite a lot of shopping.
You can choose from six different colors for the waterproof Softcase, which promises to get your items home safe and dry. During a successful Kickstarter campaign the Softcase was on sale for $110, although that price is expected to rise slightly for retail.
Backers will receive their cases by September 2016, but those who want to place an order can do so at the Softcase website.
