As adventure travelers know all too well, the greatest experiences are often unpredictable. Be prepared for anything with the All Adventure Camp Blanket by camping equipment company Kammok.
The company launched the product on Kickstarter in October as the first modular, three-part blanket system of its kind and, since launching, 1,104 backers pledged more than $176,000 to help bring the project to life.
Staying true to the company’s roots, All Adventure Camp Blankets are versatile, comfortable and durable, so you can pack less and cover more ground. The camping system includes the Mountain Blanket, Field Blanket and Mesa Mat, all working together to keep travelers warm and dry in any weather.
The Mountain Blanket is a plush, fleece blanket designed with a water-repellant shell on the outside so it can withstand the outdoors, unlike most fleece blankets. It can be worn as a poncho, a plush top quilt or can be snapped into a sleeping bag, on the Mesa Mat or the Field Blanket for increased durability and warmth. Bonus features include a hidden stash pocket, corner loops to attach to the company’s hammocks and a pillow.
The Field Blanket is made of microfleece with a waterproof shell to block wind and moisture. Like the Mountain Blanket, it includes modular snaps to attach to the Mesa Mat or other Kammok products for added warmth and padding.
Quick protection is a must-have for adventure travelers, and the Mesa Camp Mat offers everything you need in a lightweight, durable, packable mat. It’s made with stake-down corners and a waterproof coat to be used as a bag for wet clothes, a mud mat for hiking boots, a sun shield or a top layer to the Mountain and Field Blankets.
Available in Ember Orange and Stone Gray, the blankets are available for preorder: $85 for the Mountain Blanket, $75 for the Field Blanket and $30 for the Mesa Mat.
