The two-bedroom retreat boasts handcrafted furniture and locally sourced amenities, such as sustainable teas from Sawanabondin, chocolates from Kad Kakao and more. Each of the tent’s bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom and oversized king beds, and there are two private terraces, an infinity pool and an outdoor bathtub.
Guests of The Mekong Explorer Tent enjoy an Explorer’s Arrival via traditional longtail boat, a Sky Bike adventure, full-board gourmet dining, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, a stocked minibar and access to Hall of Opium Museum. Activities are included for each night of the stay, including the Walking with Giants elephant experience, a cooking class, a spa treatment and more. The tent can accommodate a maximum of three adults and one child, or two adults and two children. Rates start at $3,800 per night.
