Automatic works with your car and phone to keep you safe and smart on the road. Here’s how it works. First, plug in the Link, a small connected car adaptor, to your car’s diagnostic port. The Link transmits your driving data to the Automatic app on your phone. Now, you can view the data to analyze driving habits and make better driving decisions.
The results featured help you drive smart and even save money. Track the cost and miles per gallon for every trip and find the most cost effective route. Decode the dreaded check engine light and gauge whether it’s a minor issue or something to take to an expert. Gentle audio warnings remind you to stay at the speed limit. Export mileage data for your business expenses. Receive a low fuel warning before the light on your dashboard appears. Crash Alert sends immediate assistant in the event of an accident. The service is available 24/7 in the United States for no additional subscription fee. Automatic can even remind you where you parked your car. You can also customize your experience by connecting Automatic to popular apps and devices like the Jawbone.
The device is compatible with most car models from 1996. It currently doesn’t support diesel and electric cars. It works with iPhone 5 and newer versions and most Android phones.
You can purchase Automatic for $99.95 through Amazon or on their website.
