The Bag Bungee by Travelon

I’ll be the first to admit I thought the Bag Bungee by Travelon was a joke and a wholly unnecessary travel accessory for something that really isn’t that difficult to do — secure a bag on top of your rolling luggage. This changed quickly when I missed a flight recently in Atlanta (ATL) because I lost my girlfriend’s purse that she had asked me to hold when we rushing to make a connection. While the purse was ultimately found, for whatever reason the airline deemed us unnecessary to the safety of the flight and left without us as we searched for her purse.

For $10, what do you really have to lose in its purchase? Ok, $10 is the answer to that question, but I’ll happily pay $10 for piece of mind and a product that couldn’t be easier to use in securing your second bag atop your wheeled carry-on.

But its strength is good for considerably more. Not six months ago, I secured a case of wine to the top of my suitcase before we boarded a boat to go to a smaller island and the two clung together like a couple of star-crossed lovers locked in an embrace.
