Amsterdam is home to many museums including some honoring famous Dutch figures. Head to the Van Gogh Museum to learn more about the Dutch painter. There are incredible museums in London for many interests. Check out the British Museum’s vast collection of artifacts detailing human history. If you’re more interested in fiction than fact, make your way to the Sherlock Holmes Museum, the world’s first museum dedicated to the famous fictional detective.

New York City

The Big Apple has something for every museum-goer. The Museum of Sex (), the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum are some standouts. There are numerous free museums and some offer free admission days for the budget-conscious couple.
