This bar is a great spot to unwind and meet friends for drinks. The design has a vintage vibe, popular with the hipster crowd. There are five lounge rooms, a game room and the main room that includes an aquarium. The aquarium is the main draw of the bar. At times, there is a mermaid or merman swimming in the aquarium to delight patrons while they drink.

 

Coin Op

Gamers rejoice! The Coin Op bar in Sacramento has more than 40 arcade games and serves some of the best pizza in the area. What could be better than a night of video games, pizza and beer? They focus on beloved older games from the 1980s and 90s. The bar starts to fill up around 8 p.m., so it’s recommended to get there sooner rather than later to secure a table and a game.

 

Sacramento Badlands

It’s time to party disco-style at this LGBTQ+ bar and nightclub. This is the place to go for a night of dancing and constant fun. It was voted the best LGBTQ+ bar seven years in a row. There’s a light show, outdoor patio, lighted waterfall, go-go dancers and drag-themed nights. On Thursday–Saturday, the bar opens at 6 p.m. and closes at 2 a.m.
