The monthly subscription service sends you five sample-sized beauty products per month, according to your beauty needs. Just fill out a beauty profile consisting of your beauty style, hair type, skin type, interests and more to receive samples catered to you.
Typically, customers receive a skin product, makeup product, hair product and fragrance each month, depending on preferences. This is a great way to test out new brands and branch out from your typical routine through trial and error.
Birchbox is shipped each month within a cheerful pink box; inside is the box of the month with a new colorful design each time. The items are carefully packaged with a full list of the box’s contents and a description for each product. Coupons and discounts will be sent along as well, should you choose to buy a full-sized product on the website.
After receiving your box you can earn points by reviewing each product received. Once you get enough points you can receive discounts on any future purchases, a nice way of rewarding customers and making sure the products they send are quality.
The subscription is $10 a month, which you can cancel at any time, or purchase a full year for $110.
