Start a Book Club
For more reading motivation, start a book club with your friends and family. Pick a manageable book to start and choose a time to meet to discuss, either a few times during reading to check in or once you’ve completed the book.
Go to the Library
Sign up for a library card from your local library, if you haven’t already. Besides the obvious benefits of access to plenty of reading material, it’s a great way to get more involved in your community. Check the bulletin board for information about book-related events.
Clean Out Your Bookshelves
Choose some books you’ve either read or no longer need and put together a box to donate. Check with your local Salvation Army, Goodwill or other charitable organization to see if they accept book donations.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
