Still yet to book a sweet Valentine’s Day getaway for you and your honey? Why not consider a trip to Taos, New Mexico?
You can still take advantage of savings at a few intimate, boutique-style properties. At Desert Flower, a garden-to-table boutique property, breakfast is included in your stay, and you can book the Sweetheart package for any stay Feb. 9–18. The bundle comes with Champagne, chocolate, flowers and dinner for two.
If your idea of a romantic getaway includes time on the slopes, try a stay at Sagebrush Inn and take advantage of promotions offering special weekday rates for skiers through March 7.
As you’re planning your activities, consider a trip to the Taos Historic District for shopping, sightseeing and galleries. A scenic drive is also a must, whether you take Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway or just drive out to Taos Valley Overlook. When you’re hungry, hit up one of Taos’ fine-dining options or stop into a unique spot, like Chokola Bean to Bar, an award-winning chocolatier, or ParCht, where you can create your own custom cheeseboard.
Prefer more classically romantic activities? Book a stay at Ojo Caliente, where couples’ spa treatments are on tap, including couples’ massage workshops.
