Emerald Cruises partnered with Chef Ben Robinson, from Bravo’s Below Deck, for two culinary-themed sailings on the line’s Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara. The first eight-day sailing in the Mediterranean is the Coastal Gems of Italy and Croatia itinerary, departing Venice Oct. 28. The second, on the Hidden Charms of the Caribbean itinerary, departs San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 2, 2024.

“As you can imagine I’m a huge fan of yacht cruising, so when I learned about Emerald Cruises’ beautiful, modern yachts, I knew I wanted to cook onboard. It’s a natural fit for me,” said Chef Robinson. “I look forward to sharing my passion for food with the guests and exploring the culinary traditions of these regions together.”
Guests on these sailings will have multiple opportunities to sample Chef Robinson’s food and interact with and learn from him. Events include an evening welcome reception, an onboard cooking demonstration, an interactive Q&A session, a special shore excursion and three customized dinner menus.
Robinson was a head chef on yachts for more than 10 years, including on the largest sailing yacht in the world. In addition to Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean, he has also appeared on The Food Network.
