There is no end to the charging packs coming out for cellphones, but Cobra Electronics, famous for their radar detectors, has come out with something a little bigger.
It’s not that much bigger than a battery pack, but their new JumPack is a portable car jumper capable of delivering from 200 amps initial current to 400 amps at its peak. Cobra was able to squeeze 7,500 mAh into a device small enough to fit into a purse, measuring at 5 by 3 by 1 inch and weighing only 10.58 ounces.
The JumPack can be charged from either a wall outlet or a 12V cigarette adapter in your car, and is capable of jumping any type of vehicular battery, like scooters, motorcycles, boats or ATVs. A USB outlet lets you charge your phone as well, and there is a built-in flashlight, which can flash an S.O.S. pattern in case you get into a serious situation. A small pair of jumper cables is included with the device.
The Cobra JumPack retails for $130 and is available for purchase on Amazon.
