Top 5 / North America

While New Orleans might be best known for its culinary and music scenes, the city boasts some prime spots for a great cup of coffee. Stop by one of these cafés on your next visit to the Crescent City.

Arrow Café

The unassuming shop in the French Quarter hosts unique food pop-ups — think dim sum and tacos — for lunch. Espresso drinks are brewed using Four Barrel coffee beans.

Café Du Monde

The famous beignets might be the draw at Café Du Monde, but don’t overlook the coffee during your visit. The café uses a unique blend of beans with chicory to add flavor and body. The location right along the Mississippi River makes for an ideal experience.

District Donuts

With four locations in New Orleans and one in Baton Rouge, there are plenty of opportunities to stop by this coffee shop. In addition to a classic coffee menu, the shop offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches and a variety of donuts rotating daily.

Mammoth Espresso

The modern coffee shop specializes in expertly crafted espresso, coffee, tea and tasty pastries. Located in the city’s Warehouse District, the shop is both sleek and family-friendly.

Sólo Espresso

Located in the city’s 9th Ward neighborhood, the coffee shop hosts rotating food pop-ups weekly and pastries from a nearby bakery. Open daily, each Friday Sólo Espresso features a guest roaster.
