On Wednesday nights, check out Quiebra Canto for salsa dancing and drinks. On other days of the week, popular bands will pop up and the cover charge will reflect this. One of the most popular nightclubs in Bogota is Theatron, the largest and most prominent gay nightclub in Latin America. With hefty cover charges and long lines, this club is difficult to get into. Yet, if you are granted entry, the energized atmosphere will be the highlight of your visit.
If clubs are not your scene, try a guided pub crawl through several bars which are favorites of locals to the city. This immersive activity will truly allow you to understand the local flavor of nightlife. For cigar fanatics, La Cava Del Puro sells a wide variety of cigars, including Cubans, at a reasonable price. Of course, if you do choose to purchase cigars here, be sure to smoke them outside of the club or bar you choose to go to, as smoking indoors is illegal in Colombia.
Fans of rock n’ roll can enjoy classic rock music while they eat and drink at The Drunken Fox. The cheeky name and cool atmosphere make for a great way to end your night, making its 3 a.m. closing time quite convenient.
