Trends / Unique Itineraries & Tours

England’s Peak District is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire country and deserves a visit.

Many people come to England to visit London, and don’t see any other parts of the country. If you do want to see something outside of the capital, the Peak District is a top choice.

The area is renowned for its hilly terrain, and offers myriad opportunities to get out into nature. Whether you prefer hiking, cycling or horse riding, there are trails to suit your tastes.

In addition to amazing views and spectacular countryside, a number of caves and caverns will appeal to those who prefer to get underground. The “Blue John” caves in Castleton are a particular highlight, and Poole’s Cavern in Buxton is also worth a visit.

If you prefer your holidays to be a little more sedate, there are a number of pubs, breweries and farm shops to enjoy. Taste the award-winning craft beers at Thornbridge Brewery and chow down on locally produced delicacies at the Croots Farm Shop & Shires Eatery.

Continue your relaxing holiday with a visit to one of the historic stately homes in the region, which offer a glimpse into the life of the English aristocracy. The most famous is Chatsworth, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, with more than 30 rooms and spectacular grounds.

Whether you are looking for active pursuits, food and drink or a slice of history, the Peak District has a lot to offer.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
