Urban Junket was created with the goal of combining fashion and functionality into one great handbag and the founder has certainly succeeded. Tracy Dyer, a former Best Buy marketing executive, was repeatedly told there aren’t enough stylish laptop carriers available for women, which led her to design her own line. Urban Junket has moved beyond laptop cases, however, and now carries a wide array of bags of all sizes and function.

One of the most handy and travel-friendly items that Urban Junket carries are their bags with built-in, portable chargers for any USB-powered electronic device. The chargers don’t put off any heat, so you don’t have to worry about the rest of your belongings in your bag, and they can accommodate two full charges for more than a week. The bags with built-in chargers range from larger bags such as backpacks and laptop totes to smaller handbags and clutches. They come in a variety of colors from bright oranges and purples to more subtle grays and browns.

The hanging travel bag is also great for women on the go. This understated bag is large enough to hold full-size toiletries and includes numerous zippered pouches for easy organization. The bag can be unfolded and hooked securely onto the backs of doors, lockers, chairs, etc., for showering or getting ready in small spaces.

The bags featured in Urban Junket’s t.o.t.e. collection are made from recycled plastic bottles and non-toxic dyes turned into a polyester fabric that’s easy to care for and hand-washable. When shopping on the Urban Junket website, they’ll even tell you how many recycled plastic bottles went into creating your chosen product.
