Don’t think a private plane is right for you, but know the concept comes with its perks? Then you might want to consider purchasing a Fleet Clubs membership.
Fleet Clubs is a private flying club allowing you to share a luxury airline with other club members. Rather than one large club, members are sorted into groups of 200 members each, with sorted members then sharing their dedicated plane and a singular route — making this service perfect if you’re frequently flying between two destinations constantly. Each Fleet Clubs plane is a Boeing 737 and can hold 60 passengers in a two-two, first-class configuration.
Fleet Clubs’ newest routes include Miami to Colorado and Miami to New York City. Others include New York City to Palm Beach, and New York to Vail. Routes are offered two to three times per week.
Still worried about the environmental impact of flying privately, even if you’re sharing the plane with 200 other people? The brand reports passengers who use Fleet Clubs reduce their carbon footprint by 90 percent as compared to those who exclusively use private jet travel. Fleet Clubs also offers its members carbon offset opportunities.
If you’re intrigued, Fleet Clubs membership is awarded on an application-only basis. Annual memberships start at $50,000 for 20 round-trip flights per year.
