Cut Maps is just about the coolest thing since sliced bread. They take your favorite city or neighborhood and laser cut a precise, bird’s-eye view of the city’s map in wood or metal. The resulting product: pure artistry.

With maps of everywhere from Albuquerque to Warsaw, you’re sure to find your favorite city. If not, no worries — they do custom work as well. Cut Maps features four collections: cell phone cases, state art, table maps and wall art.

Cell phone cases are laser-engraved maps in cherry veneer. Each case is custom engraved and unique, meaning you’ll never have the same case as anyone again. Currently, Cut Maps only offers cases for iPhone 5 and 6. They run $30.

The state art collection offers maps of every state, carved into wood. State maps are pricier at $400.

Table maps are a single piece of 5-inch-by-7-inch stainless steel cut into a map. They come framed and cost $30, perfect for a desk or office.

Finally, the wall art, or the City Art Collection, offers two options for the maps. The 18-inch-by-24-inch maps are cut from high-density EVA foam and come framed. They cost $150. But there is also the option of 34-inch-by-46-inch wooden maps cut from one-quarter-inch walnut plywood. This option is $500.

Whether you are looking for a unique gift or cool memento, something small to put on your desk or something intricate to hang on your wall, there is a map for everyone and everyone for a map at Cut Maps.
