We’ve all been there — it’s Sunday morning and you had a few too many last night. There are plenty of hangover cures out there, from old home recipes to outrageous raw egg concoctions. Here are some tried-and-tested favorites you should try to avoid the hangover blues.
Originally meant for young children with the flu, Pedialyte is meant to restore hydration and electrolytes to the body. Doctors recommend it and it works like a charm for hungover adults. Drink a bottle of this salty Gatorade concoction and feel like new.
If you can’t stand the fruit juice taste of p=Pedialyte, electrolyte pills are another option. They essentially do the same thing to restore electrolytes into the body and rehydrate. Don’t use them to replace water, though; drink water with it to feel your best.
Exercise
Sometimes the last thing you want to do while you’re hungover is get out of bed, but getting up and moving can be the best cure. Going for a run or hitting the gym is the perfect way to sweat out toxins and get back on track for the day.
When all else fails …
Order the greasiest take-out you can find, crawl into your comfiest pajamas and pillow fort, pull down the blinds and turn on Netflix.
