Streets lined with festive holiday lights and decorations is a tell-tale sign the holidays are right around the corner. My favorite holiday tradition is going to Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and driving through the Holiday Light Show. My family and I have gone pretty much every year since I was a little girl.
Throughout the years the light show has gotten better and continues to add new things yearly. This year they celebrate 25 years so expect it to be the best one yet. The light show started Nov. 23 and runs nightly until Jan. 5, 2020.
The two-mile trail of more than 3 million lights can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own car or on a wagon ride, as long as the weather permits. Drive through and enjoy displays of your favorite characters, stories and more. This experience normally takes about 20 minutes to go through but can vary depending on the crowd.
After your drive, head to the market, grab a nice cup of hot chocolate and warm up by the fire.
The Holiday Light Show costs $30 a carload so gather your loved ones and turn this experience into a holiday tradition of your own.
