Streets lined with festive holiday lights and decorations is a tell-tale sign the holidays are right around the corner. My favorite holiday tradition is going to Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and driving through the Holiday Light Show. My family and I have gone pretty much every year since I was a little girl.
Throughout the years the light show has gotten better and continues to add new things yearly. This year they celebrate 25 years so expect it to be the best one yet. The light show started Nov. 23 and runs nightly until Jan. 5, 2020.
The two-mile trail of more than 3 million lights can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own car or on a wagon ride, as long as the weather permits. Drive through and enjoy displays of your favorite characters, stories and more. This experience normally takes about 20 minutes to go through but can vary depending on the crowd.
After your drive, head to the market, grab a nice cup of hot chocolate and warm up by the fire.
The Holiday Light Show costs $30 a carload so gather your loved ones and turn this experience into a holiday tradition of your own.

Florida's panhandle is often overlooked by travelers, but a quick look at what makes this such a fascinating place to visit is sure to change your mind. The northwest portion of America's southeasternmost state, shaped just like it sounds — like the handle of a frying pan — is home to stunning beauty and wildlife. Bordered by Alabama, Georgia and the Gulf of Mexico, this part of Florida is laid-back, sparsely populated and ripe for exploring.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is the largest airline in Japan. With flights from the United States to Japan and all of Asia, it's the perfect airline to book your next trip with. From ANA's amazing in-flight food to its excellent customer service, it comes as no surprise ANA has been awarded five stars for its seventh consecutive year by the SKYTRAX World Airline Rating.
For most of us, time in the car is “me time.” You can listen to that podcast you’re captivated by, blast that pop song and sing along at the top of your lungs or listen to the next chapter in that biography e-book you’re almost finished. A road trip only amplifies those opportunities. So, next time you’re traveling by road, take the wheel and take control. Opt for a rental car on your next vacation, rather than a rideshare, taxi or public transportation, and enjoy the open road on your own terms.
Traveling is hard if you are strapped for cash, but there are plenty of places in the United States that offer budget-friendly fun. If you are looking for a place to getaway where you won’t have to spend too much money, head to San Antonio, Texas.
