I arrived to the Hotel Healdsburg ahead of check-in time and my room was not yet ready, so I decided to explore the neighborhood. I enjoyed lunch at a nearby restaurant and, while I was dining, received a text my room was ready. I made my way back after I finished my meal. The front desk attendant informed me my luggage had been brought to my room, so I went on my way.
My room on the second floor overlooked the hotel’s pool. I loved the décor, with light grey and green tones right down to a bowl of green apples on the side table. Each guestroom in the hotel features original work from a Healdsburg-based artist. The bathroom featured a separate tub and shower. Organic signature bath amenities come from the hotel’s spa.
Each guestroom includes a variety of complimentary snacks and beverages, replenished daily. I especially appreciated the refreshing sparkling water after a long day in the sun. Also complimentary is the hotel’s WiFi — an important feature for anyone traveling for business.
The property features two on-site restaurants, a bar, a 60-foot pool, a fitness center and a spa. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take advantage of these features during my short stay. However, I did enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Served in the lobby bar daily from 6–10 a.m., the spread includes a variety of pastries, fruit and yogurt. Hot items are made to order.
The hotel is a charming property, whether you are in Healdsburg for business, leisure or both.
