Tips / Travel

If you have the long road ahead of you, and spa-level comfort is farther away than you’d care to wish for, be prepared for the haul with a few tried-and-true tips and products for keeping fresh and clean.

Use dry shampoo for ward off greasy hair

If you don’t have the luxury of a quick hair wash, dry shampoo absorbs excess oil for ultimate comfort. Just a quick spray and toss should hold you over for a few hours, even a day at best. Try Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo for a good feeling.

Spruce up with wet wipes or cleansing wipes

Your basic set of cleansing wipes won’t substitute bath time, but will at least help you feel like new for a little while. Make sure to grab a few travel size packs for your purse, and consider purchasing wipes specifically for your face to avoid irritating perfumes that may be in your standard wipe.

Get a clean mouth with Colgate Wisps

If you’re just looking for quick and easy refreshment for your mouth, Colgate Wisps should do the trick. They are in no way substitutes for a good, old-fashioned brush and rinse, but they will leave you feeling fresh if you’d rather skip the crammed public bathroom and wait until you reached the hotel to spruce up big time.

Stay comfortable with powder deodorant

When you’re on the go, a powder or spray deodorant that works for all your trouble areas works better than your standard stick. Lush’s The Greeench deodorant powder is all-natural and works for your underarms, feet or anywhere you a quick clean feeling. It also smells amazing.
