Ireland is celebrating its famous pub culture with a new exhibit called A Little History of The Dublin Pub, which opened at the Little Museum of Dublin June 1.

The exhibition is dedicated to the iconic Irish pub, beloved by locals and tourists and a central part of Irish culture. Visitors can learn about some of Dublin’s Victorian pubs, which include famous establishments like Kehoe’s, the Stag’s Head and the Long Hall, more than 250 years old. The exhibit includes the pub’s early history and modern digs.

There are some 750 pubs in Dublin alone, although the number has been in decline in the last few years due to rising prices and a drop in alcohol consumption in Ireland. There’s still a love for pub culture throughout Ireland, though, and this exhibition hopes to preserve that aspect of Irish life.

The exhibit will be open until Sept. 24. Tickets are included in the museum’s admission price, which runs €8 for the general public and €6 for students and senior citizens.
