Anyone with an interest in outdoor pursuits has more than likely heard of Leatherman. The company is famous for making some of the most durable multitools in the world, used by the biggest names in anything related to the outdoors. Some of the company’s products perform dozens of different functions, but the Juice B2 is set to take things back to basics.
Introduced at the Outdoor Retailer trade fair, the Juice B2 will be available winter 2017–18. It contains just two blades, one straight and one serrated. It’s so small you can keep it on your keyring, and the famous Leatherman quality means it will last forever. Some of the larger Leathermans are too big to carry around in a normal pocket, but the Juice B2 is a convenient size.
It’s a great choice for having around the camp, either for preparing food or cutting open packaging. The Juice B2 was one of a number of new tools on show from Leatherman focused on smaller tools that are easy to carry around.
The Skeletool KB and Skeletool KBx are small and lightweight, the former with a straight edge and the second with a serrated blade. Also on display was the Juice CS3, another small knife that packs a few more tools into its handle.
Leatherman’s new models mean the company has a lot more options for those who want a smaller knife for their pocket.
